2nd Day of Christmas

I never did a Christmas blog entry but luckily there's 12 days of Christmas. Any other holiday and I'd have been fucked. So this counts for my celebratory ruminations, and I thank society for grafting Christianity onto the Saturnalia, the ancient Roman harvest festival of 12 days duration. It really has nothing to do with the birth of Jesus, but hey, any reason for a party is good enough for me.
